Multiplayer plattformer for the Ouya.

Project

CMYK is a fast-paced multiplayer jump'n'run for the upcoming console Ouya. It features gameplay for 2 to 4 players, where the players gain the power to manipulate the level with different colors which change the attributes of level drastically.

Rascal Run

Project

Rascal Run is a one button game for four players. Press the buttons to jump towards the exit. But be careful the angry teacher will stop you if she wakes up and sees you moving.
Rascal Run was developed at the Fantoche Game Workshop by KILLER SHRIMPS.
KILLER SHRIMPS are Harry Strauch, Samuel Vonäsch, Monika Jagozinski, Lukas Suter and Raphaël Haab

Project

In February 13 the Social Sound cooperation went in to the second round and took place in Zurich. We, Aurelio Lucchesi, Jack Hoefnagel and Samuel Vonäsch. We wanted to create something more social and made a four player game and a table with four joysticks to controll the game. It's a simple "last man standing"-principle paired with onbeat movement to the tracks of Flying Lotus.

Zodiac Shit

Cologne Game Lab & ZHdK Gamedesign. Next Level Conference. One Week.

Project

In the "Social Sound"-workshop cooperation between the ZHdK and the CGL, we, Aurelio Lucchesi, Jack Hoefnagel and Samuel Vonäsch made a prototype for an interactive musicvideo experience for the song "Zodiac Shit" by Flying Lotus. The whole workshop was during the Next Level Conference 2012 in Cologne. In the game/interactive exerience you feel the music through leveldesign and visual effects and decide where you go next.

Capsule

"Sky falling, weather shitty. Damn, this day started good!", Lloyd.

Project

Capsule is a 2.5D Jump‘n‘Run-game for Iphone and Android-phones. It focuses on fast paced riddles and a partialy destructive environement. You play Lloyd, who wants to know why his whole world is endangered by the falling sky. His quest leads him to the dumps deep under the city. He can eat parts of the level to place them elsewhere to solve the courses.

Joseph Devolasse

"White walls. The same face on every screen. I should stop taking those pills", Joseph.

Project

Joseph Devolasse is a raw gameprototype for a course at our school. It contains three four levels and is about how indirect interaction with your envoirement leads you to your goal.
I wanted to make the player think about the his relation to his character ingame, and how a computer game reacts on beeing shut down. Because of time this isn't worked out really well, but I want to work on that topic in future.

Rewrap - Fable

"Small creatures surrounding the latern, a small breeze makes you shiver...", a stranger describing the inn.

Project

For our "Visual Technics"-course we had to take an existing game and create a additional level to it. I took "Fable: The lost Chapters" from Lionhead Studios and created a small valley with a river an an inn. Additionally we had to manipulate the textures, to create our own visual world.

Itier Island

"I want that thing over there!", the Itier thought.

Project

This short animation film was created in the 2th semester of my studies. The task was to design a character, make a 3-D model and exchange them within class. Then we had to animate so they interact with each other in a small movie. My character is an eggshaped animal with one wing. All objects interact on a flying island where they battle over an artifact.

Project

This project for school was about concepting and realising a character ready for an ingame situation. After a some time at the sketchboard, I started moddeling and animating in Blender. In the end there are six animations, from sneaking to running and interaction with other objects. This character was later used for an other schoolproject named "Devolasse".

I do the layout of "neuland", the magazine the young socialist party of zurich publishes three times a year. I also designed the cover art for all issues.

Tot'em up!

"Totempower to fight off evil it's children"

Project

For a course at the ZHdK we had to make a procedural game. I teamed up with Angela von Wartburg and created the music plus the totem-segments used for the game. The soundtrack consists out of 12 short loops which are mixed accordingly to the current ingame situation. With this technique very different feelings and ambientes are created exactly represents the players actions.

Commonstage 2012

"15 swiss, 15 chinese students, 2 languages, 1 month"

Project

Commonstage is a cooperationproject of the ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts) and the NACTA (The National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts). We formed mixed groups and started working on a play based on a story from a chinese storyteller named Pu Songling. In the end it was a mix between film, visitors interaction, audio and acting. The location was a Brockenhaus and we led the visitors through the narrow and dark spaces.

"Why buy everything, if you can share"

Project

A interdisciplinary project around the theme of green ideas. Together with Eleonora Nodari and Pete Bürki we came up with the concept for a website where you can share your things. Easy use and useroriented design was important and we also wanted to socialise neighborhoods and start it localy. As it is for now it still a concept.

Project

I arranged and played the music for this play of Mirza Hodel in early 2012 on my accordion. It's a play about two friends, sharing a room during war. They fight the pictures they see, always on the brink of depression. Who will survive this situation. Will their friendship hold?
